The project stems from discussions with Lieutenant Colonel Stefano Vit, Commander of the Frecce Tricolori. The idea is to allow users to experience aerobatic flight first-hand, as if they were in the cockpit of the aircraft. It is possible to fly over different geographical areas with each Pony in the formation.

We have selected the most innovative hardware on the market, capable of recording the pilots’ aerobatic flight in 360° and high definition from every position.

We have developed dynamic and flexible software that can customise the experience for each Meta Quest viewer.

The experience takes place in the museum hall at the Rivolto headquarters.
Ten specially designed seats have been positioned in the flight formation of the Frecce Tricolori. Each seat represents a Pony and has its own Meta viewer with the corresponding aerobatic flight experience.

Visitors can thus take their place in formation and enjoy a completely realistic and immersive aerobatic flight experience.

A second version of the software is dedicated solely to pilot training.

In this variant, the flight simulator is connected to a display on which the flight experience can be viewed moment by moment. The instructor and pilot view and comment on the recorded flight mission together. The tool thus optimises the training of the Frecce Tricolori.
