Virtual Tour
Phygital Experience
KeyWe creates a virtual tour of the Milan showroom of Cassina, a leading design company, supporting the brand during the Salone del Mobile 2022.
Cassina’s Milan headquarters opens to the public at the Salone del Mobile 2022. The showroom displays new products, the result of collaborations with designers of the calibre of Patricia Arquiola, Antonio Citterio, Michael Anastassiades and Gaetano Pesce.
The desire to give the event a digital form led to the creation of a virtual tour for Cassina.
The project allows KeyWe to support the brand’s activities during the Salone del Mobile 2022. The aim is to expand the in-person experience by integrating it with a tool that allows the event to be experienced and relived remotely. An engaging web tool that introduces Cassina’s new products to stakeholders who are not present in Milan.
Cassina virtual tour: specifications and features
The showroom in Via Durini is reproduced in three dimensions, with a high degree of realism and attention to detail. The space is organised into a sequence of interiors, mixing pieces that have made design history with brand new items.
Users can move around easily, choosing between different types of views. Thanks to a bird’s-eye perspective, the “dollhouse” view allows you to take in the entire space at a glance. For a more targeted exploration, you can select a specific point in the showroom to land on. Alternatively, you can navigate from one floor of the building to another with a single click.
An essential feature is the ability to learn about the products and their specifications through text and multimedia information. Videos and external links allow you to discover the story behind each piece. Finally, you can measure the space and the products, thus knowing their actual dimensions.
The virtual tour: a multifaceted tool
Cassina has chosen the virtual tour for the 2022 Salone del Mobile week. Through digital technology, it expands the event and extends it over time in a virtual environment.
This technology has applications beyond temporary events. Company headquarters, production facilities, laboratories: these places can also be visited virtually. This allows brands to showcase not only their products, but also their way of working and their production capacity.
Virtual tours are also very popular in the hotel industry, as they allow guests to take a virtual tour of rooms and common areas when making a booking.
