SOMEC Group chooses KeyWe for its new digital communication strategy

The leading company in the implementation of large civil and naval projects changes its communication strategy.

Somec was founded in 1978 by Aldo and Ermenegildo Sossai. It took its first steps in the civil glass cladding business. In fifteen years, thanks to its experience in the design and production of façade systems for the building industry, Somec entered the market for doors, windows and glazing for cruise ships.

Somec S.p.A. – From a highly specialised company to a full-solution provider

Today, Somec S.p.A. is one of the world’s leading experts in complex turnkey construction projects. Since 2013, the Group has evolved from a leader in the field of engineered glazing systems for cruise ships to a full-solution provider.

With its listing on the AIM in 2018, backed by the credibility derived from its naval DNA, the Group has expanded its three supply segments through a series of targeted acquisitions and a consolidation of its operating model.

The project entrusted to KeyWe

Somec S.p.A. entrusts KeyWe with a project that is challenging to say the least. It must create a new corporate website that reflects the engineering and project management nature of the Group, which specialises in highly customised end solutions.

KeyWe is tasked with designing a creative concept that conveys an emotional storytelling and promotes the corporate values shared by all the companies in the Group.

Analysis, design and implementation: KeyWe’s activities

KeyWe enthusiastically embraced the challenge entrusted to it by Somec. At the end of September, it will chart the Group’s new digital communication course.

Starting from the strategic positioning of SOMEC Group, KeyWe will create the new corporate website, placing stakeholders at the centre of business and digital communication objectives.

From analysis to content architecture and communication visuals, KeyWe will design the new corporate website using a user-centred design approach, with the aim of creating an intuitive, engaging and high-performance platform that is consistent with the Group’s direction.
