Restyling of the catalogue Installazione e Automazione by Siemens: visual consistency and readability

Siemens 2025/2026 Catalogue

Every important project starts with a challenge.
At KeyWe, we were tasked with renovating the Siemens 2025–2026 catalogue. This is a tool that has supported professionals and companies in the installation and automation sector for years.

It contains over 700 pages of technical content, hundreds of products and specifications, and dozens of contacts. This universe of information deserved a design worthy of the brand. It also needed to be consistent with the times we live in, where clarity, readability and beauty are as important as data accuracy.

This is how the project to review the catalogue’s visual communication came about. Starting from the parent company’s graphic guidelines, a completely renewed catalogue was created that is more intuitive, consistent and modern.

Method and design: a new consultation experience

Siemens tasked us with making their catalogue more up to date and readable without compromising the technical solidity that defines the brand.

Our approach was based on the idea that form should serve content.

We then carried out meticulous work on every visual and informational element. Each page strikes a balance between technical rigour and visual simplicity. Consulting the catalogue is now a pleasant experience.

  • Redesign of product tables to achieve a consistent and clear structure;
  • Creation of a visual hierarchy for immediate navigation even among hundreds of items;
  • Optimisation of readability with typographical and colour choices suitable for prolonged consultation;
  • Renewed look and feel, fresher and more contemporary, in full respect of the Siemens visual identity.

Five chapters, one identity

The new catalogue is divided into five main chapters, representing the core of Siemens’ offering in the field of installation and automation:

  1. Low Voltage Products
  2. Electrical Panels
  3. Electromechanics
  4. Factory Automation
  5. Motion Control

The catalogue concludes with a final section dedicated to references and technical support. This is a tool that supports professionals even after the consultation.

A great deal of teamwork went into creating this structure. We collaborated with various business units at Siemens Italy, taking into account the needs of each unit and combining them into a unified project.
The result is much more than just simple graphic restyling. It is a process of synthesis and co-creation, with every discussion contributing to the development of consistency.

One catalogue, two ways to enjoy it

The new Siemens catalogue is available in two formats:

  1. an interactive digital PDF version with links, clickable indexes and intuitive navigation;
  2. a high-quality traditional print version, but with an optimised and readable layout.

Two different experiences, one visual language: that of a global brand that speaks clearly and consistently in every format.

Collaboration with Siemens

For us at KeyWe, this project has special significance. For the first time, we are collaborating with Siemens, thanks to a national tender that we had the honour of winning.

Being chosen by such a prestigious brand is a source of great pride and confirms the strength of our approach: listening, understanding and translating complexity into visual clarity.

For us, it represents an experience of shared growth. We are delighted with the result and hope that it will be the first step in a long-lasting collaboration with Siemens, with whom we share a focus on quality, precision and design.
