A synergy of three websites for Fondazione Imago Mundi

From the need to express the identity of Fondazione Imago Mundi to the creation of three websites with complementary designs.

Fondazione Imago Mundi is a non-profit institution established in 2019 as an evolution of the Imago Mundi Collection. It acts as a new catalyst for artistic expression and cultural ferment in a highly complex and interconnected world. At the same time, Gallerie delle Prigioni, an exhibition space created following the restoration of the former Habsburg prisons in the heart of Treviso, also came into being. This venue displays the works collected by the Imago Mundi Collection, but that’s not all.

The task entrusted to KeyWe

In 2020, the need arose to create a new website that would represent Fondazione Imago Mundi as a whole. In addition, there had to be a synergistic link between the Imago Mundi Art website and that of Gallerie delle Prigioni. Therefore, KeyWe was entrusted with the task of bringing this digital communication transformation project to life.

KeyWe’s strategic thinking

Through our strategy, we wanted to provide the client with a flexible and innovative solution. The goal was to make the client as autonomous as possible in managing content and, above all, to develop a minimalist, essential and effective design that could best communicate the foundation’s values and positioning.

The project for Fondazione Imago Mundi

The project involved the creation of a total of three websites, each with its own characteristics and domain, but all synergistically connected in terms of communication and design. The approach used complies with the highest standards of usability, specifically Mobile First and User Centred Design.

The first website is dedicated to Fondazione Imago Mundi and has the task of representing the essence of the foundation itself, the projects carried out and the activities planned.

The second website, Imago Mundi Collection, reflects the spirit of the collection, launched by its founder Luciano Benetton in 2006, which now has a space in which to express its identity. It is a vast online catalogue of artworks that can be browsed by Artworks and Collections, with numerous interactive features.

The third website, on the other hand, concerns Gallerie delle Prigioni itself, similar in design to the first two, but highlighting the independent identity of this exhibition space. The Gallerie delle Prigioni website is currently a work in progress.
