The Space Cinema, part of the Vue International group, is a circuit consisting of 35 multiplexes. It offers the best films on the market with a special attention to major events dedicated to cinema. In addition to the film programming, there is a schedule of special content including concerts, operas, ballets, sports events and documentaries.
The Space Cinema turned to KeyWe for the creation and management of visual and textual content across all communication touchpoints, both online and offline. The partnership has grown organically year on year. In addition to the communication team, KeyWe has a team dedicated to The Space Cinema’s Customer Care, including on official social media channels.

A communication and audience relationship ecosystem
Since 2017, KeyWe has been working alongside The Space Cinema through an integrated operational model that combines content management, visual communication and customer support.
The agency coordinates a range of activities, including:
- Website and app content
- Digital campaigns
- In-multiplex communication
- Promotional videos and cinema interval content
- Multichannel customer support and Social Care
A dedicated team works in close collaboration with The Space Cinema’s marketing and IT teams, ensuring operational continuity, rapid execution and consistent communication across all touchpoints. This approach enables us to engage with audiences before, during and after their cinema experience, fostering an ongoing relationship between the cinema network and its audience.
Strategic communications support
KeyWe handles Content Management for The Space Cinema’s digital channels, creating informative and promotional content for the website, apps and direct communication platforms.
The role involves editorial planning, managing content related to cinema programming, and creating digital campaigns supported by newsletters, push notifications and geotargeted communications, designed to reach specific audience segments and promote films, events and initiatives across various multiplexes.
Over time, this work has evolved into ongoing strategic support, based on an in-depth understanding of the brand and the audience’s expectations.
Communication in multiplexes and initiatives
KeyWe oversees visual communication within the multiplexes, ensuring consistency and brand recognition across the various cinemas in the network.
Since 2020, we have been producing materials for cinemas, including large-scale posters, promotional posters, promotional coupons, price lists and food menus, ensuring visual consistency across the 35 multiplexes in the region. At the same time, we support The Space Cinema in communicating promotional campaigns and special events, developing materials and content dedicated to promoting films, film festivals and live events such as concerts, operas, ballets and sporting events.
Since 2021, the business has expanded to include the production of promotional videos, as well as the creation of animated content for digital signage and in-theatre screens, complete with speech and sound editing.
In-theatre experiences
Communication follows the audience inside the cinema, helping to create a more engaging experience. KeyWe produces video content for cinema intervals, developing animations and motion graphics that promote the circuit’s services, offers and initiatives.
Alongside this, the agency handles the graphic design for food menus and themed offers, which are often tied to the release of highly anticipated films.
The projects developed also include Cinedomination activities, special initiatives that transform cinemas into immersive spaces dedicated to specific films or franchises, using visual materials and content coordinated across various touchpoints.
Multi-channel Customer Care
Since 2022, KeyWe has been managing the Customer Care and Social Care service for The Space Cinema’s Italian audience, through a dedicated team available 7 days a week. The service operates via a bespoke ticketing platform and the client’s internal systems, handling all support requests received through the main contact channels:
- email ticket
- comments on official social media channels (Facebook and Instagram)
- direct messages (DMs)
The team assists customers with a range of enquiries, including online transactions, refunds, technical issues, and the management of loyalty cards, vouchers and gifts, providing quick, clear and timely responses.
The key elements of the service are speed, accuracy, reliability and empathy, which are essential for fostering a positive relationship between the brand and its audience.
Customer insight and continuous improvement
Customer care is also an important strategic listening tool. By analysing the enquiries received, KeyWe constantly monitors the main needs and issues reported by cinema-goers, sharing useful insights with The Space Cinema to improve the customer experience and optimise initiatives and operational processes.
The work is coordinated with the client’s marketing and IT teams through weekly meetings, the drafting of operational scripts and monthly reporting, which makes it possible to monitor the service’s performance and identify any areas for improvement.
Over time, this integrated operating model has transformed our collaboration into a true extension of The Space Cinema’s internal team, consolidating a partnership built on continuity and in-depth knowledge of the brand.
