ABB Electrification is one of ABB’s businesses, a leading technology provider in power grids, electrification products, industrial automation, robotics and motion control, serving customers in utilities, industry, transport and infrastructure globally. ABB Electrification is always at the forefront of innovative power distribution development.
ABB turned to KeyWe to design and implement a digital solution that could replace the traditional product cases used by the sales network for the residential business. The project had to include the possibility of allowing the end customer to use the solution as well: wholesalers, installers, system integrators and designers.

PRO Dimension: a platform for professionals
The solution involved a web app that does not require users to log in. It is an easy-to-navigate, intuitive platform: in just a few simple steps, users can scroll through product families, discover key product information and access a range of features.
We compensated for the lack of a real physical product with a 3D reproduction that can be explored in its entirety: not only the interface but the entire structure, with details of inputs, cables and terminals. Users can interact with the 3D model, rotate it and break it down into all its parts.
Installation, configuration, and setup
From the product sheet, you can access the area dedicated to installation and configuration. Here, videos with 3D animations describe all the procedures to follow in simple steps.
Augmented reality allows you to place the products in the homes of the end user. Accessible from mobile devices (smartphones and tablets), this technology projects a highly realistic 3D model into the surrounding environment.
Sustainability: the benefits of a digital asset
This digital solution optimises the costs of producing product cases and gives access to the catalogue not only to the entire sales network, but also to end customers. A smart, constantly updated tool to support everyday work, and an opportunity for up-selling and cross-selling between products.
